1. The app
Relief reads the outdoor workouts your devices have already recorded and renders each one as a coin whose outline is that day's elevation curve. It is provided by OZLab ("we", "us") for your personal, non-commercial use.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Relief on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
3. Purchase and refunds
Relief is a one-time paid download. There is no subscription and no in-app purchase. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store: pricing, billing, taxes, receipts and refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, not to us. Prices vary by region and may change. We never see, process or store any payment information.
4. Your health data
Relief reads workouts and workout routes from Apple Health with your permission, on your device only, and writes nothing back. It is not a medical device and gives no medical, training or safety advice. See the Privacy Policy for what this does and does not share — the short answer is that nothing leaves your iPhone.
5. Accuracy
Elevation comes from the GPS altitude recorded in your route, which is noisy by nature. Relief filters, smooths and applies a threshold before counting a climb, so its numbers will not always match another app, a barometer, or a map. They are an honest reading of your route, not a survey. Do not rely on them for navigation or safety.
6. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OZLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
8. Changes
We may update the app and these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Material changes appear on this page with a new date.
